I'm browsing on Amazon, looking for Napoleonic War Posters and I come across this description "14x22 inch Cossacks 2 Napoleonic Wars Silk Poster CGSF-A80".

This is the accompanying picture ...

I am genuinely confused. I assume that it's the wrong picture, but if I spend my £12.99 and a couple of pictures of Russian light cavalry come back, do you think I could demand what is advertised?

It probably is if you are only using it at the weekends ;)

I think the 'item' in the photo might be a lot more expensive to maintain than a couple of miniature Russian light cavalry!  :D  :D  :D

I don't know two small Russians could cost a lot to maintain.
Putin is just one small Russian and he is costing the world billions.   ;)

My eye was caught on Amazon by the Castle in A Book: Cut out and build medieval castle suitable fo 10mm and 12mm scale wargames miniatures Paperback – 3 April 2022.

It says on the front cover "1:160 scale suitable for 10mm or 12mm wargames figures".

Perhaps spotting that mistake on the advert should have raised a red flag, but I had a "look inside".

There is says "..., this model is scaled to fit 1/76 or 1/72 scale figures (20mm tall)."

I've DM'd them on Facebook, but more for curiosity than to progress a purchase.

It does look pretty basic - I'd think you could find some stone texture images and create your own walls and square towers pretty easily.

I have quite a bit of Kallistra castle walls and would look to this as scenery rather than terrain.

I was just intrigued 'cos it is quite rare to see something "mainstream" and 10mm. Other stuff from Amethyst seems to be 20mm.

If you've got the Kallistra castle stuff then I'd certainly stick with that - its nice stuff.

I've not looked at paper craft stuff for some time, but I do have a cut-out and build book to make the Unseen University from Disc World - which is still very much pristine I'm afraid to say. But it looks to be around 10mm (which was one of the reasons I got it). I now wonder if someone would have used this as the basis for a 3d printed version?
