That was a fairly crap few months. I am glad  that despite the incredible foul up that is the admin side of our NHS, you are relatively ok. Diabetes is a pain, and different people seem to get sugar spikes on different things. You will have to work out yours.

There were three of us in the office who had diabetes, all with the same health care trust and all told different things. I find a low carb diet is best, and if you are going to eat sweets chocolate is best as it has a high fat content.

Most diabetes pills work by stopping your gut absorbing sugar. However Sugar in the gut is a laxative - you have been warned. :-&  Hence my trying to stay on low carb diet.

Because of above I am very careful to lay off the carbs for 48 hours before going on a plane or long journey. :)

[mind you, the competition is being held in Blackpool tonight ..... great memories running around that superbly sprung ballroom floor when I was a kid.  :) ]
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

I confess strictly is one of the few reality competition shows I can actually watch. Gotta credit the amount of work and determination they put into it. Though it is over the top at times.

We put up a tweet about us stocking brass spears/pikes in 40mm/50mm/80mm and 100mm lengths and you asked about who carried 17m pikes.  I replied 'The winners!' as a joke as I wasn't sure what you meant?

Clearly it isn't, unless you're thinking about putting a 100mm brass spear with a 10mm figure?  I don't think I'd recommend that, they'd be a bit big...
