fred.

Got the little gribblies based up tonight

13 bases more of each of the melee and shooty ones.

I've now got 15 painting sticks cleared, which is serious progress.

Also found the Minotaur standard bearer, that I had lost put safely somewhere, and had rather forgotten about until seeing his photo on the webstore the other day. He needs a bit of finishing off, mainly the banner - thinking about lion skin colouration for it?

Thanks chaps.

As I got out some of the TB Line cavalry to photo for Jorge - it seemed a good idea to stick them together!

This is a good first step towards achieving this goal, from the start of this thread, and quite possibly a couple of preceding years too.

QuoteArab Heavy Cavalry - getting these guys painted would improve this army a lot for not a lot of effort.

will be great to see what you will do with those knights!

Araby Army

As my Araby army has been used in the last few battles, and I have started work on some more TB units for them, I thought it would be good to get all the troops together, so see what I have, and what I have still to add.

The army is a mix of manufacturers, GW, TB Line, Magister Militum and Pendraken.

The Pendraken Turks, with black powder weapons are closest to the camera.

In the to paint pile, are a few more foot archers, lots of horse archers, camels and knights.

A very impressive army :)

One small suggestion, an hour spent dark edging all the bases that aren't would really pull the basing together

Fenton

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Fred, you have a really lovely army.

Splendid , Forbes !!  :-bd

Thanks chaps.

Paul, you are right about the basing been rather inconsistent but I think I will lighten the dark edges (which will be laser cut edges) rather than darken the others.
