Nice work there, hopefully we might see these in the Painting Comp come February!

8)
I will probably hold off with any pics for a couple of weeks  ;)

Worked out my next batch (80 Infantry, 9 Officers); if I do 5th Virginia Continentals, 33rd Foot and some British officers I will have a couple of nice small forces.

British 2 battalions of Foot, 1 battalion of Hessian Jagers and 4 troops of British Legion Dragoons
American 7 battalions of Militia, 1 Continental regiment, 1 Rifle battalion, 1 infantry battalion and 2 troops of Lee's Legion

Will be good to have enough for a game. I should even have them done in time for the 233rd anniversary of Guilford Courthouse on 15th March. Which is a Saturday ... I feel a cunning plan developing  ;D

All based over weekend, just need to dry brush the shrubbery and varnish (when the weather improves) so

Next batch (80 Infantry, 9 Officers) undercoated and started on 5th Virginia Continentals coats and British officers' horses.

I'm surprised how little coat there is to paint on AWA23 Continental's, 1779 Reg's, marching. Lots of small clothes, facing, cuffs, turn backs and pack but very little actual coat  :-\

Nice figures with enough variety, with some AWA24 Continental's, 1779 Reg's, hunting shirts, marching added, will give a more regular appearance with out all being the same  :)

I strongly suspect I will also enjoy painting them, lots of scope for highlighting the small clothes and the pack as well as the coat  :)

I've just noticed there have been over a thousand views on this diary  :o   ;)  :)
