Excellent, Paul. Really does justice to some great sculpts.  8)

And I've just twigged that you must be based in the land of the long white cloud.  :)

Well spotted that man. Unfortunately the long white cloud is low, grey and leaking today  :( So as well as mucking up my photo shoot it will inconvenience the Wellington Rugby Sevens tournament

Thanks for the kind comments.

Four day weekend drawing to a close but have made good progress
- Last batch (80 Infantry, 9 Officers) based and flags & shrubbery added, waiting for the weather to improve so I can varnish them
- coats, waist coats and trousers done on current batch of 24 artillery crew and 48 infantry
- 6 guns still waiting for undercoat (raining)
- two towns and two villages prepared but ... waiting for under coat due to ... rain  :-w  ;)

Hang on - if it's pouring there and it's slinging it down here, where the hell's it all coming from?  =) =) =)

Fortunately nowhere near as bad here as in the UK.  Mainly cloudy with persistent drizzle and occasional rain

Enough to stop you spraying undercoat or varnish outside and reduce natural light for photography

Roll on summer ... :-w  hang it already is summer here  =)

Weather has improved, so...

- good progress on current batch of 24 artillery crew and 48 infantry
- 6 guns undercoated
- two towns and two villages undercoated

Not bad before lunch  :)

Sun still not cooperating enough for photos, hopefully this afternoon or tomorrow

Thinking about my army entry, have layed it out and surprised how much space it takes up  :o

Thanks Kev, that means a lot coming from a past winner  :)

Still on track for their debut on 15 March, 233rd anniversary of Guilford Courthouse.

Taking a break from painting figures to paint a couple of towns and villages to give them something to fight over. Thanks to Rex (who I suspect lives about 50km away from me) and Leon for a very useful tutorial
