Mostly TB Line, the nearer elephants are MM, wizards are GW

Paul, you are right about the basing been rather inconsistent but I think I will lighten the dark edges (which will be laser cut edges) rather than darken the others.

I was tossing up which to suggest, I went with the majority Light edges will look good

Very nice looking Araby army. Like the idea of using Janissaries for the firearm troops. I was thinking of using the Afghan types but will have a look at the Turks now.

Given it's meant to be fighting the likes of Orcs, Chaos Warriors and Undead I'd be concerned if it was an accurate representation of the armies of the Mamluk Sultanate or something similar

Indeed - the flying carpets should be the give a way that it's a fantasy army. Most of GW's human armies are based on a historical theme / period, though  usually this is only a base and lots of twists are added to this, as well as the overt fantasy elements. But for a gamer this is a good thing as you can use lots of historical troops to bulk out your army.

Very nicely painted  army though.

Started work on some more knights last night. Going for black and orange like the spearmen - they look a bit dark at the minute.
