Duke Speedy of Leighton

A was jhingis' own way of showing he had united the tribes, each tail represented a tribes equal share of glory (according to Conn Iggulden's series of books anyway) I know he spent time out there researching facts, so that may be worth looking in to.

The horse tails have been the most popular in the emails/requests/chats I've had with folk?

I'd have thought the horse tail - its fairly iconic

Also its fairly easy to cut back if you want to do a simple square or triangular banner as a conversion.

Fair do's....and as Fred says, should be relatively straightforward to convert that one ?

Behind the good-looking bird, there's a dinky cart that needs to see the tabletop:

Yep - that's a good-looking bird.

Ahem.... ;)
Returning to the thread. ;D ;D

I'm seeing the horsehair standard being about twice the height of the figure ('Castability' allowing)....
Does that sound about right to you chaps ?
Cheers - Phil.

Works for me but it will need to be straight up rather than slanted like a lance: can you cast this?

THAT is particularly useful S. :-bd

The piccy I was working from doesn't give any  3D perception....In fact it looks like a long haired 'broom head' cross piece.....Not a round 'dustbin lid' with the hair dangling in a circle.
That's saved some time (and swearing).....Many thanks ! :)
Cheers - Phil.

It'll be straight up, as near as poss G. ;)
In the pose I'm doing the wee chap, it would suit that for casting purposes anyway.
