1)  A pack of remount horses already saddled, possibly with one or two warriors on herd duties.

2) I know you are making a Chinggis Khan figure as a freebie to pledgers so how about a commander pack for others, models of Jebe the Arrow, Bo'orchu, Muqali possibly in Chinese armour to represent the fact he spent most of his latter career against the Jin of Northern China and the greatest of them all, Subedai Bahadur, who, legend has it, he had to be carried around on a cart because he was so big.

3) A pack of EHC, all in the same position to represent the keshik or the khan's guards.

4) Siege machines and crews including officers -who could double up as commanders for the dismounted warriors.

5) To go with the Chinggis Khan model, a model of the Great Naccara or camel-mounted kettle drummer that signaled the attack.

6) Unarmed peasants that the Mongols used as arrow-fodder.

In case you couldn't tell, I have a mahoosive interest in the Mongols, possessing four armies already in 6mm, 10mm, 15mm and 25/28mm.

Put me down for a pack of the dismounted archers (MON11) and one of the camp followers (MON12).

Thanks for the post, I'll update the total now.

Thanks for the suggestions as well, the camel drummer should be doable, as would the EHC bodyguard as well.

Welcome to the forum.

The Roman armies that fought the Huns...

Thanks for the welcome and information Dunnadd. Looks like the Huns are not as historically accurate for my Late Romans as I first thought. I still want some though  :D

Leon

Just had another pledge through by email, so that takes us a little closer to the next £1500 goal!

Congrats on reaching an amazing total!  :-bd  Can't wait to see the range completed.

Can we do this again? Say with something Napoleonic? Württembergs, Saxons, Hessians, Badeners, Westphalians, French skirmishers or Napoleon and staff?  :D

Well, that's the £1500 target hit!  We will now add the keshik (Khan's guards), and I'll also chat with Techno about adding the camel drummer to the command pack.  This experiment will officially close on the 31st July, so make sure you've got your pledge in by then!  For anyone who has already pledged, if you can double check that we've got you down for the correct amount, that'd be great as well.

How much would be need to pledge to get this Mongol added?

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
