And your posting here rather than ogling the lovely miss ennis?
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

That was during the break between Javelin and long jump!
Also got to see Bolt and the whole 100m qualifying, and Pistorius in the 400 metres, and (Que Nik) all the pole vault totty!
;D
All for 20 quid with Mrs Lemmey and number 1 daughter while number two gets baby sat by the in-laws!

Ouch !
Get a bloody excellent LARGE cod....A serving of scampi....An over-sized portion of chips, (easily enough for two people) plus beans or peas for the same price from my local chippie.

Cheers - Phil.

True, Ray.
But think of all the exercise you'd get...and you'd certainly work up a good appetite !
Also an excellent way of beginning your training for the next Olympics ! ;)
Cheers - Phil.

We usually have 3 small cod, 2 large chips, couple of sausages, and a pickled onion for 16 quid.  I bought 3 Cod, plus a pizza (£6) at Westfield.  My card was smoking!

I thought that tended to be more of a purely Scottish dish....But I wait to be corrected. :-\
Anyone ever eaten one ?
What are they like ?
Sound truly awful....Says someone who's quite partial to Mayo and Redcurrant jelly sandwiches. :)
Yummy !l

I tried one once, at Ben Fong's in Fort William. Deep fried King Size mars bar.

What it looked like in the wrapping was bad enough! The Caramel layer when fried was sickly, teh fluffy bit became like a crunchie, I ate about two bites and then ran up Ben Nevis on teh calories inside!
Grim!
Grim!
Grrr...  :-&
