We usually have 3 small cod, 2 large chips, couple of sausages, and a pickled onion for 16 quid.  I bought 3 Cod, plus a pizza (£6) at Westfield.  My card was smoking!

I thought you Brits always ate fried Mars bars for lunch?  :o

Cheers,

I thought that tended to be more of a purely Scottish dish....But I wait to be corrected. :-\
Anyone ever eaten one ?
What are they like ?
Sound truly awful....Says someone who's quite partial to Mayo and Redcurrant jelly sandwiches. :)
Yummy !l

I tried one once, at Ben Fong's in Fort William. Deep fried King Size mars bar.

What it looked like in the wrapping was bad enough! The Caramel layer when fried was sickly, teh fluffy bit became like a crunchie, I ate about two bites and then ran up Ben Nevis on teh calories inside!
Grim!
Grim!
Grrr...  :-&

'Up' on a map is a fiction that is agreed upon.  I read that the reason 'North'='up' was to make sure Rome was higher than Jerusalem (ie Christianity>Judaism)
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Okay - I have a new Olympic hero: Haley Nemra of the Marshall Islands, did really well in her 800m heat with a PB, but didn't qualify in her heat (despite the heat after her she would have won comfortably as there were only 5 participants, all the good guys pulled out)!
All the others applauded her!  :D

Hmmm. Puts Odin above Jehovah too. They needed to plan more carefully.

I don't get religeous persuaders any more.  I always argue science with them.  I think I might be on a blacklist somewhere
