Yep, I'm finding it too hot to paint after Midday, so trying to get a few hours in each morning whilst it's relatively 'fresh'. So only two light cavalry units finished today.

HEIC infantry started, with about 2/3 base colours applied. So much detail my eyes need a break! Final 1/3 this afternoon followed by a wash. At least the highlights should be quick...

First HEIC infantry unit finished, using AWI Militia figures. Lovely sculpts but it has taken me about 6 hours to paint one unit, maybe less. At least not too many of these required!

2nd unit started and hopefully I'll be a bit quicker, having painted one unit already... :-\ .

Well a dose of the latest Covid variant hit painting on the head for about 4 days :( . Slowly getting back into the swing of things with some terrain painting and a bit of figure work too. Hopefully more later, dependent upon the rugby...

2nd HEIC 'Militia' unit finished today. Getting back into the swing of things now :) .

3rd HEIC Militia basecoat and wash applied. Highlights later then a break from painting infantry with some 'easy win' big Ottoman guns most likely :-\
