First unit of 18thC Indian line infantry painted and wash applied. Highlights and lacquer to follow.

18thC Indian line infantry finished, bar lacquering. Painting made so much easier by using some brushes I bought recently from ABC Brushes. Really fine tips and thin handles made it easy to get in to awkward spaces to paint highlights :) .

Second unit of line infantry started. So much quicker once you've done the first unit and have come up with a routine.

Duke Speedy of Leighton

Tidy up and varnishing done on cavalry and 28mms
Just got to get things based now.

I managed to finish it in a day Paul. I reckon it was about 3-4 hours painting time, spread over three sessions, as I find my concentration starts to fail after an hour or so, plus my eyes an shaky arm need a break.

3rd line infantry unit basecoated and washed. Slower than the last one due to family stuff etc. Still, having fun and it's good to see progress!

Duke Speedy of Leighton

A few sets of 10mm heraldry sorted.

Not much painting due to a wonderful hot and sunny day, so spent plenty of time outside. However 4 units of light horse had the horses given their base coat colours this evening.
