95th Rifles

Made a good start on these chaps this evening- got most of the base colours on. Dark Green and Black perhaps not the clearest colours in 10mm, so will have a look at highlights tomorrow. I really like the figures, very detailed, it has taken quite a bit of searching to work out what all the accoutrements are.

Thanks chaps done a bit more tidying up on them earlier this morning. Next bit is highlights - then working out anything that has been missed, they do have a lot of fiddly bits of kit!

95th Rifles

Got this lot pretty much done today. Which is pleasing as they only arrived late yesterday morning!  Basing needs finishing and they need a coat of matt varnish, but otherwise done.  :)



In Rebels and Patriots these would count as Skirmishers and be in 6 man units. With the rifle upgrade they are 6pts a unit, and if veteran then 8pts. So only 4 or 3 units in a standard 24pt force. So that's the British done!  And with a few super numanaries at the back left.

This is an attempt at taking a picture further away and cropping. It didn't look great on a small screen but will be interesting to see what it looks like on a post.

I've only just completed my first 12 figure British AWI infantry unit* for Rebels & Patriots yesterday. Took me a lot longer ...

* Pendraken, of course.  :)
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Good stuff. I think the French will be taking me a fair bit longer. Dark Green with Black equipment allows a lot of room for error. Having made a bit of a start on the French (blue coats, black shakos) its already proving quite hard to work out which bits should be blue, and which are white. Then there is the need to work out what all the different bits of kit are, and what colour each of them is. Oh and then plumes and epaulets...

Too late Ian, as I already have the figures in normal attire, and I'm not sure great coats really say 'Sunny Spain' to me.
