Fred - 2020 Painting bits

Thanks chaps, took some photos in real light this afternoon (this was at the summer point of the day, we really do seem to have had 4 seasons in one day today).

Peninsular War British & French

All the troops - this is 2 playable 24pt forces for Rebels and Patriots - the British do look very outnumbered, will their superior shooting be enough?

Both forces


British Rifles


French Voltiguers 3 x 12 man units


They still need a flag


French Dragoons


This has been a great little project, my first Naps, two playable forces, lots of learning about uniforms and enjoyable to paint (at least in these small numbers!)

I think there are a couple of individual WWII codes in there from the new releases. But the rest of the box is full of Samurai goodness.

They have been airing all afternoon as I have been working. Will get a chance to dig through in a bit.

Samurai are only part of Sengoku armies, and far from the biggest. We don't call post 1960s forces "Centurion armies", do we?

Magnetic Basing

As I had managed to re-find my roll of magnetic basing sheet, I cut out lots and lots of squares and stuck them on the bottoms if the bases of various figures are have done recently (well relatively recently)



Bonus points if you can tell what I had on in the background!
