I knew a Vietnam veteran who, after his stint in Nam, went to college and chose to do a librarianship course because his buddy told him "it's full of chicks". Which was true and he enjoyed it, apparently.

That was the upside for him. Downside was that he entered librarianship, and most librarians didn't seem to feel any great affinity with combat veterans. So he was glad to find someone who appreciated his war stories such as about fixing a broken track in a paddyfield under fire. Which made it hard for him to take it seriously when he was on library management training courses where people talked about 'stress'.

;D ;D ;D ;D oh that was an entertaining few posts. Re. stress. When  people used to talk to me about stress in teaching my response was:

a) it took them 25 years to sack X, who was 59 at the time and got paid to go!!

b) and where else will you get a job with at least a week's holiday every seven or eight weeks, some of them are two week holidays and one of them is a six week holiday!

d) think of all the life experience you've had compared to your pupils, surely you can outwit them.

e) if you really don't like it do something else, life's too short.

Oh, sorry.  I appear to have come to TMP by mistake.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

I saw those as well. Don't much like Tarantino's offerings although the film FDTD is a slight exception. Jury is still out here on the series.
Both of these fine vampiric specimens of the female persuasion look good to me.
