Didn't know you were doing ACW - 10mm I take it.  How you basing?  I happen to know two guys at Tring have 10mm ACW...

I am basing on 25 x 25mm for normal infantry stands (Normal fire and fury bases) but 6 figures in two ranks.  So they will be close enough to yours and Sunjesters

Thanks for all the ideas. I really like the TBM buildings so may be tempted with 6mm Buildimgs, but I will wait till i see them in the flesh at a show.

It will be a while before the ACW stuff hits the painting table

Just to mess with your mind, the next issue is "boats."  What scale to use for ACW ships, gunboats and river steamers etc.? Thinking of actions which involved or could involve naval forces (e.g., Shiloh).

What ground scale are you using? How big will your rivers/sea be :-\

SJ has his in 2 x 3.  I'm using 7/8 for a more ragged/dynamic look.  Allow us to introduce you to They Couldn't Hit an Elephant.
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

I'm not sure if anyone carries the 6mm ACW line at the shows, might be worth popping them an email to check?

Orcs, are you going to Warfare? I am taking some TBM 6mm ACW buildings there to pass on to my brother, who has just got into 10mm ACW. I'll be there in my Lance and Longbow polo and a Leman lanyard (carnation in lapel?).

Thats OK, plenty of time acording to my lead mountain I am going to live to 183.

Anyway its not my fault.

We did lots of BKC at club so I had to paint up the Western Desert stuff then the pOles then the germans to go against them =.

They did a Chain of Command league at club, so I had to get early war stuff painted, then they did a Saga campaign so I had to paint up Vikings for Saga.

I didn't realise until Sj told me tonight you hadn't even started painting the figures.  A little early to worry about buildings.
