I don't want to put any strain on the stitches.  I have been advised by the Doc at A&E to get up before "he" does, so he doesn't say hello first thing in the morning - don't want to put strain on the stitches.

They should have stitched it with elastic band maybe; or they could have left some slack on the stitches? :-\

We're talking expansion gaps here then? Works on bridges, I suppose.  :D
