My other (current) project is painting 15mm sci fi figures for Laserburn.

I am horrified to realise that it's at least thirty years since I was running a Laserburn-based role play game at SESWC!

I still have the basic rules and the Imperial commander expansion and some of the figures.

Though its nice to see them all being re-released again
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Sorry for turning the conversation away from Earth history!  The Laserburn figures are terrific though.
I'm looking forward to immersing myself in Royalist and Parliamentary non-uniforms as an antidote to silver space suits and ray guns.

This forum appears to be the bee's knees.
Thanks for making me feel so welcome!

Welcome to the forum, PO. Diverge away - they can't touch you for it. As for disposable income - the time to worry is when the building society wants to know where this month's mortgage payment is.  :o :o :o

Okay, as promised, my first attempt at 10mm.  I generally paint in a 'loose' way, not sure if it works as well at this scale.

Thanks for all the encouragement!  Yes, I'm hooked on the scale.  I wanted to do a test stand so I had a finished product before launching into Newcastle's Whitecoats, or the entire New Model Army (which is an apt force to paint if you think about it...).

Just had a peak at your blog, Ric; there's some inspirational stuff on there.  Glad I joined this blog.

They look pretty good to me, PO.

I've been painting 10mm since the early 90s and they look as good as (if not better than) anything I've ever done.
