ITLSU 1914 reinforcements

Germans now cleaned up, some helmets 'converted' to shakos, on my painting rods and under coated 

I got quite a bit done around various domestic duties

And some grab shots of the 'Brits' before they made way for the Germans on the painting rods...

Indian gunners for the 10pdr Mountain Battery and two standing handlers for the mule teams





The mule teams have four mules per gun, so 12 mules in all









and finally the actuals Brits, 6 crew plus a commander for the 60pdrs and 3 escorts for the mule teams

Slow but steady progress on the Germans while pondering tables and generals' hats

Finished painting this batch of Germans, including touch ups
Wash and final dry brush to do. I will also base the Jägers and extra infantry. Pierre the Shy will base the artillery

Generals have been ordered and I will do a head swap to get the hats right
Will have a go at scratch building the tables

On to some more Germans as I return to my 1917 project

Both sides of bases painted and started on the edges

I will glue magnetic vinyl on later tonight and label tomorrow morning 
I can then sort the figures onto the bases to make way on the painting rods for the 1917 Germans
