ITLSU 1914 reinforcements

Soaking a couple of bases to get the figures off as they need to be rebased, slow progress 

My mixture of filler, paint & PVA is taking a while to break down

After soaking for nearly 24 hours the basing mixture came off with a little persuasion with a modelling knife and tooth pick (on the figure base).

The figures survived well although I will have to repaint the boots

Magnetic vinyl glued to all bases and most of the labels cut out from spares. Will only have to reprint three labels

Got the guns and vehicles undercoated finally, in between entertaining the twins all weekend as they've both come down with stomach bugs...not good 

This has not been a fun few days for Mrs Shy or myself.....hopefully they are now on the mend.

Mrs T's been knocked low by a similar complaint for the last 48 hours....So much fun ! 
Must be a Global virus.

Jeez - I'm writing this in bed with some sort of stomach bug. Very uncomfortable, and on top of that I've cut my right hand in four different places so I can't paint. Making up for it by reading rule books.

All pretty back on track here now with twins and Mrs Shy all OK  - thanks for your thoughts  

so onto final wash and dry brush and bases for the guns etc tonight.....still need to get the crews and a few German infantry to Paul to do in case he ever runs out of AWI militiia (or 1914 German jaegers) to paint up

Only one more batch of AWI Militia left to do and only 3 stands. These will be Loyalist, Bryan's Refugees from North Carolina
A few others to do as well

Redoing my German guns as my Tamiya grey paint went very weird and "dropped " its colour. not sure what's. happened ~ too cold maybe 

Got a new pottle so see how things go. Bases ready.
