The flying lizards have their wings close to the body, you've got some of these I think?  The flying dragon has it's wings extended out, flames from the mouth, and no horn on the nose!

You'll be fine: undercoat white if you're painting yellow...or if you've already undercoated black etc, paint the I-want-those-bits-yellow white first & you'll be coolio  8)

Maenoferren

yeah was thinking white, orange, yellow- orange then yellow, then yellow-white for highlights but then again It will probably be white, yellow, yellow wash finished ;D

It is Blue, as is a portion of the kitchen wall..... I found a can of Ultramarines blue and thought yeah blue, gave it a dman good shaking and somehown, not quite sure how it kind of went kersplat and went in every direction except the plane. For some strange reason I decided to cover more than normal with paper (Normally I do it in the shed but it was raining) the paper got 95% of the paint, 4% got me and only 1% go the wall....oh am I in for a bollocking tomorrow!!!!!!! :'(

:D Mate: you are having a top Friday night, eh?!!

If you've not had a drop now - best correct that right now & at least you'll have something to blame!

Maenoferren

Fear not I survived, the wall is plasterboard anyway and needs covering -phew. its a nice blue to be honest. I will finish it off tonight, wondering how to have it in flight :-\

Nice  :)

For planes I tend to use a 50x50 base & either drill out a nice hole & use dowel or plastic rod which is then embedded into putty on the base...for lighter planes I'll use a large paperclip bent around & glued into a groove I file onto the underside of the fuselage... the clip is bent into a triangular shape for gluing to the base [& again covered with putty]...

...if that makes sense   ???

Maenoferren

Cheers Nik I will see what I can find loitering around here :D
