This was a fantastic game both to play in and to look at.

Thought I gave the Americans a good run for thier money but
in the end the British reserves failed to roll very well and that turned
the game.

Qudos to Paul for all the effort he put in to allow the game to look and play so well.

You broke 4 out of 7 Brigades and 2 more were getting pretty close to breaking as well

After over two weeks of distractions (two demonstration games and a multi-player game) I've got back to painting the current batch of AWI

24 British Converged Light infantry; 71^st Highlanders, 16^th Foot, Prince of Wales American Regiment
48 North Carolina Volunteers - Loyalist Militia
3 British Officers
12 American Riflemen

Shirts, small clothes, trousers and leggings now done

Did a bit of checking last night and realised that I have painted all my original Americans for this project

Once I have finished this batch I will have finished all the Americans  

Three battalions of British, some Native Americans, a couple of wagons and some buildings left to do

They were produced in NZ in resin many moons ago. I'm sure any resemblance is purely coincidental

Unfortunately Peter is right, it has been too cold for painting several nights of late

The weather wasn't as bad as predicted here over the weekend, although there was snow in the South Island and a frost here this morning

The better weather was a mixed blessing as it meant I got to go with my wife to some outlet shops in a town about 90 minutes drive away

I did manage to get some painting done over the weekend and Phil will be pleased to hear that I have now finished the painting on this batch

Still got touch ups, wash and final highlight to do before they are ready for basing
