Here are a few 'action' shots from the Battle of Camden

The initial clash

British Regulars and Loyalist on the left, American Militia and Continentals on the right

Continentals & Loyalists

American Continentals on the left exchange fire with Loyalists on the right, casualties mount on both sides

Regulars & Militia

British Regulars on the left exchange fire with the American Militia on the right. The Militia have advanced to cover recovery of their routed front line (far right, red dots)

Regulars charge!

British Regulars, on the left, charge the American Militia. The light infantry detachments on the right of the British line really hope the Militia rout before melee

Regulars & Advance Brigade

British Regulars , on the left, exchange fire with the infantry of the American Advance Brigade and more Militia. The Advance Brigade and the last American Militia Brigade have advanced to replace the three Militia brigades already destroyed by the Regulars. Armstrong's Militia Light Infantry, on the left of the American line have deployed into skirmish order to hopefully reduce casualties. The Highlanders and British Legion Dragoons advance, back left.

Regulars, Advance Brigade & Continentals

The hard pressed British Regulars, left, exchange fire with the infantry of the Advance Brigade, right. The Highlanders, back left, have been repulsed by a charge by the Continentals, back centre.

The AAR can be found here http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,12600.msg173975.html#msg173975

This was a fantastic game both to play in and to look at.

Thought I gave the Americans a good run for thier money but
in the end the British reserves failed to roll very well and that turned
the game.

Qudos to Paul for all the effort he put in to allow the game to look and play so well.

After over two weeks of distractions (two demonstration games and a multi-player game) I've got back to painting the current batch of AWI

24 British Converged Light infantry; 71st Highlanders, 16th Foot, Prince of Wales American Regiment
48 North Carolina Volunteers - Loyalist Militia
3 British Officers
12 American Riflemen

They were produced in NZ in resin many moons ago. I'm sure any resemblance is purely coincidental  ;)

Resin holds paint better. I don't like metal terrain.
