Double OUCH !  8)

You have done well, my young apprentice....But you still have more to learn.

Hope your fingers aren't too sore , Nobby.
If you're talking about the little metal 'circular saw'......That's why I won't even use those.....They always look as though they'd be so likely to slip.
I only use the carborunderumderumderum (sic) discs. Those 'only' burn, if you just catch yourself.

Cheers - Phil

Yes, I was using the circular saw.  :D

It didn't slip - I was just a little careless about where I waved it about.

Have you been on holiday, Techno? You've been very quiet. Is it that nasty Leon working you too hard? Has Mrs T been experimenting with armour and you've been hoisting her aboard the horses a la Lawrence Olivier in Henry V? Has it stopped raining and you and the locals have been searching for an Englishman to introduce to a wicker sheep?

Has someone written something on the Forum that upset you? Have you been bullied? Show me on the doll where you were bullied. Show me. SHOW ME NOW!

I've just been so horrifically busy, Nobby......Oodles of work, 'chores',.....now, the MIL feeling 'frail', and trying to keep half an eye on the 'stray' that seems to have decided we're her new owners.

And I still haven't quite recovered from losing a whole night's sleep last week.

I'll try and give you a call, Matey.

Cheers - Phil

Oooh! I've missed your cheery optimism on the forum. Hope everything's OK.

So, the stray. Is it

a) b) or c)?

In my effort to become Techno II, I  am hobbling around on a bad ankle. I was the last one in the office, and needed to visit the little FSN's room before I went home. This meant passing through a door that is swipe card controlled. As I passed through this door, I realised that I'd left my swipe card on my desk. I turned to stop the door from closing and *crack*, there went the ankle. I hurpled back to the car and drove home desperately trying not to use the brake.

This morning, as I limped past the cats who were sprawled on the couch, I sensed that I was being scrutinised. My feline companions were eyeing me much as a lioness eyes a struggling wildebeest.

If I stop posting send the RSPCA with nets and dart guns to rescue my ravaged body from two feral cats who have tasted human flesh.

Oh, Matey !  X_X

Do you mean the door slammed on your ankle, or did you twist over on it ?

If the latter, you might well have broken or sprained sommat......Methinks a trip to casualty is in order !

Hope it feels better soon.

I pirouetted gracefully as a pygmy hippo. Well, my body did, but my foot stayed planted.  I've had it up all day and it's definitely better.
