I don't break up until Thursday! 

Hoping th etemperature gets above freezing soon, two armies to varnish is a bit much! 

The forecast is to stay like this until early next week, possibly even longer . So realistically not much chance of varnishing at present, unless you want cloudy models .

Well a good day yesterday in that I managed to:

- Base up the last of my DB units.
- Finished off converting a few Javelin Foot Skirmishers for DB.
- Finished painting my Italian cavalry, so just varnishing and flock to add tonight fingers crossed.

Tonight the aim is to:
- Paint 3 Italian motorcycle riders.
- Draw up a scenario for a Good Friday AVBCW game with Craig.

Now working on the French archers, the Tafur, and some English spearmen. HEP! DEVS VVLT!

Interupted night because of daughters not going to sleep, and organizing a wargames event for August, but...
1 unit of French line,  1 unit French Currassiers, 1 unit Chasseur a pied, prepared,sorted, plus two units of zouaves/turcos trimmed and sorted, ready to be prepared.
And three Prussian four pounder guns painted.

One platoon and two squads of "Screaming Eagles" complete. One more squad and a bazooka team to go.

Tafur done, English coming along steadily.

Assembled some Romans, still waiting for a thaw, or at this rate Thor to defeat the Frost Giants that are running our weather systems! 

Nearly finished off the Falkland's infills....Continuing with the Gauls....Quazar 42 and Hertsblue's 'requests'.....
Completed 15mm sci-fi and 6mm 'historical' projects.

Varnished and sand/pva bases at last yesterday, finally!

Ink them today and get paint on them soonish...

Crusaders paralysed till next order arrives; meanwhile, forward with the Cumans for the Romans, and the al-Toassin, the Quaraghulam spearmen, the Tabardarriyah, and the Dailami for the Egyptians. DEVS VVLT!

Got the last Airborn bazookas finished. What to do next? Probably the M10s methinks. No, they didn't drop them by parachute....

Had a great AVBCW game with Craig yesterday. I aim to put up an AAR today as well as attempting to finish off some more Italian units if time allows. A busy period as my wife is a Catholic so hardly seeing her at present and so on Daddy day care duty. Plus Dr Who tonight might put pay to my plans!

A patchy week has seen the following:

- Italian cavalry and motorbike units plus associated commands finally finished off.
- Pendraken Horsa glider assembled and tweaked with the addition of struts to the landing gear, tail fin as well as a nose wheel with the tail wheel removed. Also reduced the weight so that it fits my stands better.
- Started scratch building a 70' armoured canal boat/barge for use in my AVBCW games. It will have a few MG turrets and probably a mortar 'pit' as well as an armoured wheel house. I might do a few variants such as a troop carrier, naval gun etc.
- Painted the bases of my Dux Bellorum warband. Haven't been able to find the time (or inclination) to start painting the actual figures.

So not bad for me, but with Spring desperate to arrive my time will increasingly be spent outdoors on the garden etc.

Lots of flock and scatter this week, on 15mm Nam, hoping to do the same to the Prussians tonight.
