The Alexandrian/Diadochi/Successors (Macedonians, Seleucids, Ptolemaic Egypt, etc) is a great idea.

They are highly 'morphable' troops and armies.

Mix in some Hoplites and you extend the range possibilities even wider.

Open hands please.  Presumable Pendraken will also supply the pikes?  (if so, steel is good but don't make 'em sharp).

And also the upright pose is essential (even if you offer 'lowered' options).

In terms of Ancients gaming, Alexander's Empire offers far greater scope than Rome.  Most of Rome's enemies were basically the same - iron age warbands.

Alexander and his Successors fought Rome, Rome's enemies, and all manner of other wierd and interesting armies across the Setppe, Mesopotamia and into India.
I've always felt if a figures manufacturer had to start somewhere, its the Successor rather than Rome.   :D

Zues has the disadvantage of having never had any worshippers at any time or in any place.
