Me and A mate watched all of season 12 today (1st season with Tom baker) .

It was a long day and very enjoyable.

So we got talking and said 10mm Dr.Who wars!

He then said, I can make a 10mm Dalek... I think he's wrong but I hope I proves me wrong!

I thin said, let's do it..

So we're doing a commander, a unit and a support/veteran unit per race.

Races are:
Sontaren (standard unit, tank)
Dalek (Dalek humans, Daleks)
Cyber men  (Cyber unit, cyber scout)
Ogryn Mercs (Ogron and Ogron Vets)
Humans (Mariens and tanks)
UNIT (Troopers and Hev wep teams)
Vogons (guardians and Malisher)
Galafrayns (Galafra guard and Time lord unit)

No hands, but they do have basic faces I think.  It's basically a torso with legs and a head.

Good,I fear the face most. Although most will need converting to look more alien and such.

My son will definitely want any Daleks that are made! On a small but possibly important note, are there any copyright issues with this?

Vulpine

Unfortunately I can mould them but only print them for my self :( unless Leon knows a way?

I'm doing:
Cyber force
3 Different Cybermen advancing
2 Different Cybermen firing
1 other Cyberman (possibly kneeling or a leader)
1 Cyber controller

Vogan Force
1 Vogan leader
2 Vogan advancing
1 Vogan firing
3 Vogan Militia

Ogron Mercenerys
3 Ogrons

Paint it Pink

or you can do what GZG do and call them mad robot war machines, or something similar.
Unlike some people, I feel under no obligation to pretend that only one war-gaming scale is true, and that any others 6mm/10mm/15mm/25mm are mistaken; or that I know better than people themselves what is right for them to use. The point is precisely for all war-gamers to decide for themselves.

There may well be unfortunately.  The BBC have been 'very protective' of Dr Who in the past (oh the irony!)

https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2008/05/knitwit-bbc-goes-after-dr-who-fans

However, it would appear that things aren't clear cut in terms of who owns the various rights (copyright, trademarks, etc.).  For example, Terry Nation's Estate retain the rights to the Daleks (and the BBC  pay through the nose to continue to use these iconic villains).

Ultimately i guess Pendraken will know what risks they want to take with this.

Perhaps making figures 'inspired by' rather than directly copying will make things acceptable.  BTD after all make direct images and market them under the Dr Who banner.  I've no idea what rights they've purchased to do this.

Fingers crossed though...Dr Who minis would be cool!   :D
