Fantastic painting.  Was this o an Army pack or did you buy individual bags?  Just wat to know since I am thinking hard about starting this period.  Starting with 2 army packs, Austrian and Prussian.

C'est tres magnifique!
Jolly good paintwork, but I draw the line at being drawn into 2mm; 10mm is about as small as I go.

Essentially, yes - with a few additions - my order looked like this:

French:
1 x 1870 Winter French Army Pack
1 x FPW2 Lancers
1 x FPW22 Mtd officers

Prussian:
1 x 1870 Winter Prussian Army Pack
1 x PPW3 Uhlans
1 x PPW6 Mtd Officers

You should give it a go...very different technique (obviously!) but when they're on-table, they really do give that grand scale (I've got them set-up for a scrap at the moment - hoping to bung some dice at them later tonight)

Oh, I agree. They do look good in a grand scale, but it's just that one's old eyes wouldn't thank me very much 8)
