The Brits do have a great imagination. What you see there is a locomotive armoured with protective carpets, made of heavy rope - hence the hairy look -hence the Mary...thing
One can only guess where the hair in Mary was...

Carlos is on a roll now!



The Spanish Civil War is one of the usual themes of Carlos's work.

There was a unit of portuguese volunteers that fought on the Nationalist side during this conflict.

It seems there were between 8.000 and 12.000 volunteers envolved, that enroled either in the Spanish Foreign Legion or in the Carlist militias.

This conflict was another proof, in any more was needed, that there is no worst war than a civil war.

This dio here represents an attack by the French Resistance against German critical war supplies.


The Wiberlwind looked good and was even very effective as a close support weapon for the infantry, when necessary.
