Very nice looking models M'lord Speedy  :-bd

Can you please advise some details about your Lynx helo bases....

1. size of the (presumably) MDF base used? and
2. thickness and height of the clear plastic rod?

Would you ever think of using thin stiff plastic rotor discs for 10mm helos or would they be too weighty/ too much hassle to make/ too fragile to practically handle given the single attachment point?

Thanks in advance  :)

The base is a 50x50mm from this very boutique, with a Pendraken flight base (old stock, not sure its in the cataloany more, its a 25mm circle with a 3 or 4mm hole, sure Leon would provide if you ask him) added on top, with mdf offcuts spread around, and some milliputtto hide edges, under my usual sand/pva mix to hide the obvious lump.
The stems are one Pendraken brspoke flight stem that I bought for my Epic stiff, think 10cm, cut in two deliberately unequally sections. Can't find them in the catalogue, but again, sure Leon would provide.

I did think about the rotor disc, but I enjoyed painting the rotors! I'm sure it would look amazing, and would not be too much fir the model if you kept the weight down and/or magnetised it?
