Nearly done unit boosters for Sudan and started four American AWI units for a commission in Sunday while I had a bye.

Fokker Triplane finished bar some transfers tomorrow morning, followed by a coat of lacquer.

Some bases flicked and clumped, one more sculpted

Transfers applied this morning, which was a real struggle, with my shaky arm not helping one jot ! At least the finished product looks OK .

Skoda 30.5cm mortar base coat camo scheme and wash applied. I wish I'd painted the impossible to reach areas before assembling .

Changed the brake light on my Skoda.

Had ten days off painting due to walking,, visiting both sets of parents and getting sleep.
AWI commission for Lee, this time the Americans. Got to the finishing off stage. Facings done on five units for his 'Live Free or Die' forces., the tidying up and basing will be done in the next week-ish.
 Dearborn's Rifles, (mixed hunting shirts) 2nd Massachusetts (Blue with white facings), a unit in hunting shirts (generic), 2nd Continental Dragoons (Dark Blue with white & buff, as they fought everywhere in small numbers) and Massachusetts State artillery (dark blue, red facing).
Casualties next, which will be a split of all three of Lee's AWI nationalities.
Also taken the decision to rebase my AWI and Napoleonic Austrian forces, as they really don't fit any rules we play regularly. I'll put them on smaller bases, so if I need larger units again I can get sabots.

The quality out of the boxes was dire.  By the time I'd done, you could read the "JVC" sponsorship on the Arsenal shirts; I had to fake the "Holsten" on the Spurs shirts as the print was too small. Those two sponsors show how long ago it must have been.
