You certainly have to leave your dignity at the door. Having biopsies taken via your rectum is rather unpleasant too :o .

It's a challenge. Anyone can look dignified and commanding in a tuxedo (except Roger Moore, admittedly).
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.

Walking around in "a goonie wi' yer arse hingin' oot," as a fellow circumcisee described it, is less than dignified, let alone the procedures that follow!
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Ugh. If I had no other reason to detest the middle-eastern belief systems, the routine mutilation of kids would be enough.

Our oldest kitty paid her debt to nature this afternoon.

Voluntary Colonoscopy Cancer screening at 55. Jeez! Gowns... 5 actually good looking Nurses... and THEN!
COLD water up there... and Terrified that YOU would 'spray'the lasses! It got done! You did NOT want to go up stairs afterwards!
Result... nothing out of ordinary for age. At 60, you get a test kit for faecal matter... no result!
It WAS voluntary... Better done for peace of mind... BUT!  :(  :o

My mum was advised - by her quack - to take Thalidomide while carrying me. Bless her heart, she decided to endure morning sickness rather than risk it.

That's the queen gone then. 4 years short of sending herself a telegram.

Just saw the news now, we'd heard the reports earlier today that she wasn't doing too well.  I'm not much of a monarchist but I've got to respect her sense of duty to the country and the years of service that she's put in.

It feels a bit odd as there's not many around who remember the last time we had a change of monarch.  New currency, new stamps, new words to the anthem... all feels a bit weird.
