Touch ups done yesterday morning :)

Most of the peasants washed last night :)

Most, but not all :o

Some of the peasants are bare legged and somehow I had managed to miss painting their legs X_X :-[   ~X(
I had missed highlighting them ~X( ~X(
I had missed them when doing the touch ups ~X( ~X( ~X(
I only noticed when I was washing them, fortunately I was able to wash the wash off them and have base coated them this morning

The remaining peasants are waiting for these to catch up  :-w  :!!
Then they can all have their final dry brush and figure bases done at the same time

Sounds like they will be the cleanest peasants ever seen in seventeenth century Ireland. Or seventeenth century anywhere, to be honest!

Well the bare legged peasants are even 'cleaner' now

Legs were base coated yesterday morning and highlighted an hour or so later :)  :)

Washed yesterday evening just before I headed out for our regular Saturday game :)

Based 5 units of "rabble" last night which are meant to be generic enough to use in any "celtic fringe" war of the three kingdoms scenarios.

Mainly for use in early Irish battles but will also be useful for other games where ill-armed and organised units are required such as Napier's reseve at Alford (mainly camp followers etc) and Carbisdale where Montrose's "army" was mainly composed of drafted farm labourers from the Orkneys.

just need to add flock and generic labels to complete them now. Since they are stictly generic units no standards or flags carried by them.
