:(

I went to Meatloaf's concert in Wellington with my now passed mate Rob (who was a real fan of his) when he came here as part of his Bat out of Hell 2 release tour. He saved "Bat out of Hell" for his final curtain call number. All I can say is that I have never seen another performer put as much heart and soul into a song as Meatloaf did that night. The TSB Arena was rockin' at the end of that performance  :)
"Welcome back to the fight...this time I know our side will win"

Orcs

Another of my favorites gone.  I think i have every album he ever made, including some stuff that was not released in Europe.  :(

I know what I will be playing this morning.

Saw him live at Donnington Park in the mid 80's, really enjoyed the show. Warning - don't put "Bat out of Hell" on a car system, instant traffic jam !

I remember doing an analysis of Bat out of Hell during one English Literature lesson at my evil school on the outskirts of Slough Trading Estate.
To be honest I was a bit miffed I was more punk/new wave at the time.
