I'm really not sure, Ian.....We seem to have a/an (at least) partially separate entity.....Which is 'controlled' by the Welsh Assembly, rather than Westminster ??

We appear to have a 'Welsh NHS' website when it comes to ordering prescriptions.....But I agree, I'd have thought it was 'all' centralised.

(What about Scotland and Northern Ireland ?  :-\)

Certainly all the bumph I was reading yesterday was referring to just England, rather than the UK.

Cheers - Phil  :)

"Responsibility for the National Health Services in Scotland is a devolved matter and therefore rests with the Scottish Government. Legislation about the NHS is made by the Scottish Parliament. The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing has ministerial responsibility in the Scottish Cabinet for the NHS in Scotland."

But Scotland has always been different. Wales was until devolution was exactly the same as England. Apart from the rain and large granite lumps.
