You really shouldn't be telling me to delay though, I don't need an excuse to avoid painting so giving me one is just bad news.

Sunjester and Orcs have heard this story.
I've had a small lesion on my tongue for a few weeks, I thought it was a cut that was slow healing. It bled on and off.

Saturday night and Sunday morning it bled so much that I passed out and had to have an ambulance and overnight in hospital.

normal haemoglobin count is 130-180, mine is normally 160.

Sunday afternoon it was 98. At 80 they transfuse.

I'm pretty sure at one point I had more saline than blood in my veins! (about 2.5 to 3 litres).

Plasma replaces at about half litre a day. Haemoglobin takes 4-6 weeks.

Was just viewing the Scottish News on the BBC website and came across the headline, "Emu on the loose after Care Home escape."

Thinking, "Right enough, Emu must be getting on now, I couldn't help but imagine the chaos that bird would cause."

But it wasn't what I thought.

The original article states, "Groundsman Dennis Agnew bought the bird and a female companion a couple of days ago...".
I commend Mr. Agnew on his forthright admission and surmise he was being well distracted when the bird made good its escape.
