Unfortunately....That didn't stop MIL falling over twice last night. X_X

The carers have described her face as looking like she's done a few rounds with Mike Tyson.

Not so good, however these pads are definitely a great idea.

Mum's carers have twice been alerted to the need to rescue her when she decided she didn't need her walking stick just to go and use the en suite and wound up nose down on the floor, unable to get up.

Thank you everybody.

You really shouldn't be telling me to delay though, I don't need an excuse to avoid painting so giving me one is just bad news.

Sunjester and Orcs have heard this story.
I've had a small lesion on my tongue for a few weeks, I thought it was a cut that was slow healing. It bled on and off.

Saturday night and Sunday morning it bled so much that I passed out and had to have an ambulance and overnight in hospital.

normal haemoglobin count is 130-180, mine is normally 160.

Sunday afternoon it was 98. At 80 they transfuse.

I'm pretty sure at one point I had more saline than blood in my veins! (about 2.5 to 3 litres).

Plasma replaces at about half litre a day. Haemoglobin takes 4-6 weeks.
