US forces for early war Korea not far from finished, just need to finish a couple of pershings, platoon of Shermans,some Recce,  HQ and some heavy mortars



and decide on foliage (probably going to go with scrubby hill look  :-)

Apologies. Being a Horse & Musket fan, my eyes were drawn to the Austrians at the back. They look good, too! 

I missed the Austrians due to all that lovely armour in the foreground .

Yes the Austrians are my first foray into Napoleonics (as it is better than SYW  ).

I'm pleasantly surprised how quick I can do Austrian uniforms 

Touched up a few imperfect foxskin caps on my Thracians; hmmm, haven't really painted anything for months. Do I need some WoR stuff to combine with Kingmaker?

Huns nearly done, just shields and tidying up to finish.

Base drybrushing on some WWII US Airborne in advance of uniforms etc tomorrow. Nice to be in the mood to paint again .

No painting today due to tiring day at work, but did manage to assemble some AA units for my Italians, so not all bad .

1/300 oil tanker built after a hard weekend wargaming!

4 bases of 90s Saxons repainted for a commission, with a general.
20mm guns and crew added to Vospers MKIs (can't believe I missed them first time), oil tanker base coated and inked.
15mm Huns looked at and ignored...

63 bases sanded and pva'd tonight.

Thought about completing some basing on some English Civil War dragoons. Instead? Half pint of Bombardier ale (at the local pub), half a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon (at home, with and after dinner), two bottles of Skye Red ale and two 'house measures' of Glenfiddich 15 year old malt whisky.
