Sunrise over Liverpool Town Hall - sweet!

As regards Mama Mia - would love to have heard that with Pan pipes and kithar (however you spell it).

Just invested in a load of tiny scale ACW railway stuff, snake fencing, buildings and rubber fields, rough ground, ponds and marshes. Another couple of weeks or so to play Fort Donelson.

I like it when you put up pictures, fsn, particularly when they dip back before the 20th century. Good looking work and the trees are a lovely find*.
I liked the last figure picture that shows Ser Zeros, Ser Vals, and Ser Kates closeup!

Speaking of pictures, look forward to seeing all your new stuff when you do Fort Donaldson, Leman.
When you listed "rubber fields" I suddenly thought you were going to Malaysia, but sorted out now.  :)

There were 125 trees in the package. I don't know when I ordered them, or from where.

Had an interesting holiday.   My Mom fell down some stairs.  Enough stairs that the medics that came to get her suggested that she go to a hospital with a trauma center instead of the local one.  And that she go by helicopter.  Not exactly what you want to hear.

In the event, all the tests showed that she had a broken wrist and a quite large goose egg on her forehead, i.e. what we already knew and the best possible news.  Her wrist broken badly enough that they had to do surgery the next day since they couldn't get it into shape for a temporary splint.

That's all done and she was a real trooper.  The worst part was that, while she was admitted to the hospital, I can't be in charge of her Parkinson's meds.

We'll have to watch her very closely while her arm mends itself but it really could have been at lot worse.  Now I have to work out how to get some painting done while in the house as opposed to my garage work space.

Hope she recovers from the fall quickly.

Thanks.  She is already talking about raking up some leaves so the password is definitely "constant vigilance".

As for painting, my main issue will be to work on projects where I don't suddenly decide that I need "that other shade of purple".  Also sawing through large pieces of cork bark in the living room might be frowned upon.

Plowing through some of my 10mm fantasy could be ideal but I'd have to arrange better lighting and posture.  I was thinking that I don't really have any project where I've experimented with colors and am ready for production but I could do the 10mm orcs.

Sorry to hear about your mom's fall, LLC. Falls are a real danger to us older folks. Hope she recovers quickly.

Oh...I give up !

Bl**dy intraweb..... ~X( ~X( ~X(
Just lost me all the posts I've missed in the past umpteen hours, by 'going awol', while I was trying to catch up.

Still, having been out to the post box (which I didn't look at yesterday) I now know that 'the spot' on my lung hasn't changed a jot for the past couple of years......So I won't need another CT scan......Huzzah !!!!

Never really bothered me, as I could never see a s*dding thing in the scans.

"Have you ever had TB ?" ...Asked the consultant....."Nope, definitely not."......I reckon it was down to scarring when  had the worst bronchitis, I'd ever had 15 - 20 years ago.
Took three months and three successively stronger anti - biotics to get rid of it.

The final anti-b had the side effects of 'maybe' ...Turning your teeth yellow......and killing you.

Cheers - Phil.

(I've been told off, by she who must be obeyed, because I've lost about a stone in weight, over the past 2-3 months....I'm now six feet tall with a weight of eight stone.)  X_X
