Thanks.  She is already talking about raking up some leaves so the password is definitely "constant vigilance".

As for painting, my main issue will be to work on projects where I don't suddenly decide that I need "that other shade of purple".  Also sawing through large pieces of cork bark in the living room might be frowned upon.

Plowing through some of my 10mm fantasy could be ideal but I'd have to arrange better lighting and posture.  I was thinking that I don't really have any project where I've experimented with colors and am ready for production but I could do the 10mm orcs.

Sorry to hear about your mom's fall, LLC. Falls are a real danger to us older folks. Hope she recovers quickly.

There were 125 trees in the package. I don't know when I ordered them, or from where.

Thanks, explains why I couldn't find a hobby establishmen called "125"  :-S  :)

Oh...I give up !

Bl**dy intraweb..... ~X( ~X( ~X(
Just lost me all the posts I've missed in the past umpteen hours, by 'going awol', while I was trying to catch up.

Still, having been out to the post box (which I didn't look at yesterday) I now know that 'the spot' on my lung hasn't changed a jot for the past couple of years......So I won't need another CT scan......Huzzah !!!!

Never really bothered me, as I could never see a s*dding thing in the scans.

"Have you ever had TB ?" ...Asked the consultant....."Nope, definitely not."......I reckon it was down to scarring when  had the worst bronchitis, I'd ever had 15 - 20 years ago.
Took three months and three successively stronger anti - biotics to get rid of it.

The final anti-b had the side effects of 'maybe' ...Turning your teeth yellow......and killing you.

Cheers - Phil.

(I've been told off, by she who must be obeyed, because I've lost about a stone in weight, over the past 2-3 months....I'm now six feet tall with a weight of eight stone.)  X_X

The whole lot will be going up to Sir, tomorrow, Nobby  :)

Cheers - Phil.

(I genuinely wasn't bothered about the 'spot', on my lung, at all...but it's still nice to hear that the 'medics' have said..."We don't need to see you again."

Especially as I used to smoke 40 ciggies a day.  ;)......Idiot !!!

Orcs

Good to know you have been given the all clear.

Now I could happily give you 2 or 3 stone. that would please SWMBO and my doctor  :)

It'd please my own SWMBO, Mark....I'll check my Body Mass Index, after I've posted here...it'll be something horrendously low.

Cheers - Mr Skellington.

Techno: Given the info you've posted, your BMI is about 15.2.

That puts you somewhere between a Giacometti statue and Squidward from Spongebob Squarepants.

You'll not see a more varied cultural comparison today, I'll warrant.

Trouble is, Guys.

I continually wind myself up like a cheap alarm clock.....And when I feel like that, my appetite goes down to virtually zero.
I'm the sort of person, that if he hasn't got anything to worry about......will worry about that instead. =)

Have you been reading Dashiel Hammet again?

It's easy to say "eat a pie" or "stop worrying", but a lot harder to do.

Just be assured that there's a whole lot of more or less street legal "people" on this forum who wish you well.

Have one more bite for me. Then have one more for Paulr, and one for Orcs, and one for Leman and one for d_Guy ...

I'll only end up 'gagging', Nobby !  :(
Thanks for your thoughts though, Matey.

From my look at the BMI index.....I'm something just less than two stone underweight to get to the lowest 'good'  BMI figure for my height.

Cheers - Phil

Leman

You may get a round of applause for gagging Nobby  =D> =D> =D>
