Just put number 20:Pendraken ACW zouaves on painting sticks, togheter with the extra cavalry troopers i ordered (to bump my units to 4 bases each for Neil Thomas' rules)

Also stuck the extra russians i ordered to bases. Already started on these just now.

Idea is to get some stuff done to enter the painting competition (i never win, but participating always keeps the mojo high)

Been a while since i had so much pendraken stuff ready for painting!

The six stands of russian infantry ar finished. just applied the base texture to dry overnight. Hopefully i can finish them tomorrow and enter them in the competition, even if it is just for the fun of it!

Also scored 4 cans of revell primer in the toy shop for 3,4 € each, they were liquidating spray cans!

The flesh tones are far too orange for me.

Added some stands of infantry to my soviet force for BKC. Entered them in the painting contest so pics can be found here (first of the thread):

Seems i didn't add them to the master list, so still at 20 forces to be done!

Couldn't resist anymore and just ordered this one from ironclad to add to my trench line:





Their trench lines really fit 10mm models (they accomodate BKC basing). This was the last one from the set i was missing.

Also ordered 2 15mm dug in markers. Would have liked to order the pendraken ones, but they don't fit 50mm wide bases. Will see if these look good next to 10mm troops.

So another thing to throw in the painting pile!

I have quite an lot of little critters in my collection now. Bet they will come in handy to play some nice themed song of blades and heroes games with the little one! (my oldest and not so little one doesn't care about gaming anymore, so my hope is in the little one now!)
