Blimey Phil. Glad that the overwhelming prognosis is good, even if in the  short term it sounds bloody uncomfortable.

I think CT scans often pick up a couple of 'possibles' that require further tests to confirm that everything is normal.

At least you can now reply to anyone who calls you fat, by saying it's not fat it's just wee. Perhaps that doesn't help  ;)

Let's put it like this, I just stole this from my brothers faceache feed (astrophysicist doctor at Warwick)

I installed the IT systems on an MRI scanner in the Vet School.

Before entering the room we had to leave behind all metallic objects, keys, belt buckles, coins, all magnetic media, phones, credit cards as these would distort the magnetic field or be changed by it. Was never allowed entrance during sessions when the magnet was 'on', only a vet and an animal handler and a horse.

Never understood how the MRI engineer didn't bother.
