Remember not to take any sculpting tools and armatures into the CT scan ;)

Also, depending on how much broken tool and knife tips and dremel wheels you've currently got embedded, you may want warn them about anomolous results on the images  :o

Um... chaps? Not that I'm worried or anything, but how long is "overnight" in Wales at this time of year?

I was going to wait until 'lunchtime' then give a call!

I know that waiting for the ward rounds for the all-clear then getting the discharge processed can take a frustrating amount of time. Anyone with recent hospital experience know what time he's likely to get out?

Depends on both Phil and the ward, I was in for a v. quick day surgery recently-ish, but had a bad reaction to the aneasthetic and didn't leave till 7pm - despite being out of surgery by about quarter to ten in the morning! Other times they're so busy that finding the appropriate someones to sign someone out takes bloody hours. Makes them annoyed (they need the bed), makes the patient annoyed, but as the alternative is just bunging people out the door without  checking they're actually ok I think I'll take it...

Been in and out at least three times in the last couple of years.

Was released once on schedule, was kept once overnight as surgery took longer than planned and a third time waited 8 hours for a discharge paper.
My Ego forbids a signature.

It's only 1.00 pm here in the UK so perhaps early yet considering you have to wait for the consultant to do his rounds, give the go ahead for discharge plus having to wait in the ward for your medication from the hospital pharmacy.

Having said that I think Von will have to take him a few books - I hope I am wrong but, in my experience of the NHS, "for investigation" means don't be surprised if it takes a few more days before they complete their investigations and Phil gets back home again. Good luck, Phil.

... so, what mischief can we get up to in the meantime.  :)

After these two comments I would not be surprised if Nobby gets an invite to  Pendraken, once there  the casting dwarves will pin him down and insert the entire Korean Range including his bloody Centurion, hot from the casting machine -  right where the sun don't shine.   :d

They will of course ask for "danger money" for going anywhere near Nobbys rear end.   :-&
