Main colours done on the second batch of Armenians

Bases of first batch touched up before heading off to work this morning 

I managed to varnish the first batch of Armenians after work yesterday

But ran out of light before they were dry so I will hopefully get a chance for some pictures if the rain clears this afternoon as forecast

I need to crack on with the second batch, more colours on the mounted then onto details

I've finished all the colours on the second batch of Armenians and started detailing with the spear shafts

Now onto adding more details

I went to take pictures of the first batch of Armenians and realised that my blue base cloth is at our regular gaming host's place on standby if an extra part of the North Atlantic is required

So I used my desert base cloth instead

IV/2 Cilician Armenian 1071-1375AD

1x General (Kn),   2x Armenian nobles (Kn),





6x javelin men (Ax f)
or spearmen (Sp s),





1x archers (Ps)                                 2x archers (Bw f or Ps)       
or Bedouin (LH)
or Crusader orders (Kn)
or Frankish crossbowmen (Cb s)
or Armenians disguised as Mongols (LH),






The options crossed out are in the second batch of Armenians as well as an extra 1x General (Kn), 2x Armenian nobles (Kn)

It wouldn't take long to do up the plumes on those Armenian horse.

How should I "do up" the plumes
Currently they are an off white, Vallejo Deck Tan

Ah. I was a victim of photography; they looked unpainted on my screen. 

The wash has ended up a little dark on a couple of them by they do show up a little better in real life
