My Byzantines have just struggled to a close-run victory over the Franks. If the crusader general had not got her knights a bit boxed in with friendly troops, the results might have been different.

Varangians didn't sweep away the German spearmen as fast as hoped, but the Latinikon took out Richard and his crusaders fairly effectively.

All right, then, a few more.... The early stages; the military orders mass against the imperial right, while the Hetairoi prepare to punch out the Frankish centre. The Cumans saw off the Hospital's turcopoles with ease.

Serious situation for the Franks; the Alans are getting rid of the Templar turcopoles (it took an inordinately long time), and the crusaders are blocked off from advancing by the melee.

Painting on the second batch of Armenians was held up slightly as I rebuilt half the leg of one of the archers
I'd noticed that there was some metal missing from the figure base when preparing the figure but hadn't realised how thin one of the legs was until I went to paint the trousers
I've now thickened it up with putty and filled in the base and painted the trousers so painting of the batch can now resume

While I was waiting for the putty to dry I based the first batch of Armenians
