How far behind us in the UK 'time wise' are Microsoft ?

Bets on them bunging out the updates at the very last minute our time ?
A shiny new old sixpence anyone ?

Much to my surprise, MS didn't try and install any updates through the whole of yesterday.

"They think it's all over"......Oh, I do hope so.

No.....They saved it for the day AFTER the free download was due to finish.

The daft thing is...I did NOT want '10...(hate cloud based stuff, etc, etc)...but, as I will now need office, ( and pre-installed ' 07 bundle will not now open!)...thought, WTH, go for free upgrade to '10.
Tried for 3 days but download just did not come through! LOL!

Maybe John Connor got there in time!  ;)

Unbelievable.  X_X

I DIDN'T want it.....But ended up with it.
Got rid of it, with the help of an IT bod..(Which cost)...And since then have been almost constantly pestered with the 'relevant' updates, coming through at an average of twice a week.

At least the modification to the auto update I did yesterday, allows me to see what they try to download, and I can refuse them, instead of having to keep uninstalling the damn things.

I refused a load, this morning.  :P (I wish that was a ruder symbol) to MS.
