Like I've said before, '10' seems to work absolutely fine on some PCs.....But others......

I'm just waiting for them to try and sneak those updates past me again.....Must be due in the next day or so.

Roll on the end of July.....I hope.....Though, again repeating myself, I expect they'll extend the 'free' period...So I'll still have to keep an eye out.

That's over a whole week since they last bothered me. (Famous last words.)

I did find an article about 'the final push' from MS...(Full screen nagware on its way, apparently).....It mentioned that anyone who'd had '10' previously and uninstalled it, shouldn't be bothered again......We'll see.

Having had a quick Google, it appears that their free offer hasn't been anything remotely like the success they were hoping for.  ....Feck them ! (Report to Moderators. )

Apparently.......It'll be everyone who HAS downloaded Windows 10's turn to be bothered, from the 2nd of August.

That's when the W10 Anniversary update gets launched.....Wonder if that'll be free ?

Hi don't know, Hwestie.

I just leave the PC disconnected from the phone line, if it's not in use.....And check for the relevant (barsteward) updates when ever the phone line gets plugged back in....or taken out again.

I'll be doing that for another month after today.....Just to make absolutely sure.
