1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? - Baroque
2) What armies were confronted? - ECW Royalists v Parliamentarians
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - yes, very similar to Impetus Ancients
4) and... was the first time do you use the ruleset? - yes
5) How many players were in the game? - Three

We have been waiting a while to get a game of Baroque in. It plays very well and feels like a refined, smoother version of Impetus. We do need to re-read/check up on one or two things but we all want to play again soon. Right, off to paint more ECW figures

Hi

1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? - Age of Honor (Age of Eagles variant)
2) What armies were confronted? - French v Hanoverians/British/Hessians (Pendraken of course)!
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - Yes, very
4) and... was the first time do you use the ruleset? - No
5) How many players were in the game? - Two, me v my 10 year old son.

Good game based loosely on the Battle of Quatre Bras, finely balanced with reinforcements coming in.

Cheers Paul
PS Despite reading the posts on the forum information I still do not seem to be able to put photos direct into a post from my computer, any help gratefully received! Loved Bodvoc's photo.

I had to get help from fellow Forumites to put photos on. I put my photos onto Photobucket, then when I post them I just copy them onto the forum between the imaging thingies, sorry I am not very technical but essentially you need to host your photos on something like Photobucket before posting them.
Thanks to all for the nice comments about the photo of todays game, it is friend Pete's table, a mix of all three players figures and my houses in the background.

Tonight's was based around an American sweep of a hamlet to move the civilians and fire the settlement. The American's were harassed by snipers and a few brave locals. Americans lost 4 with 3 wounded. the VC 2 KIA. The village was destroyed but the stores, bunker and tunnels remained undiscovered. Both sides went away believing they had won. Success!

Where are the markers from?

I made the markers late last year when my school was loaned a laser cutter, it seemed a good way to teach myself how to use it ;)

Paul, as has been said, first step is to get the photos somewhere on the internet - a blog, photobucket, flikr, Facebook or wherever. Have the page with the image open.

You can either copy the image link now or when you have your post ready to drop them in. Right click on the image itself and from the little menu that opens click on Copy Image Location. There may be several similar options so make sure you've hit the right thing.

Start your post or reply on the Pendraken site as normal and include the img tabs in the appropriate place in your post by clicking on the Insert Image button - second row of buttons between the Message Icon selection box and your input, 3rd icon from the left..

You will wind up with a pair of tags that look like this {img}{/img} except they'll have [] brackets not {} ones. If I put in the proper thing you wouldn't see it!

The cursor will already be in the middle between the tags. If you copied the image location earlier you can paste it in at this point. Otherwise find the image, collect the location info and then paste.

Preview will show if you've got the image in place.

If it's huge or tiny you can adjust the size by editing the first tag to read {img width=500} or similar. Play around with the number used 'til you're happy. You can use height instead of width if you prefer. Space between img and width but not elsewhere or it won't work.

Bear in mind if the image is moved or deleted it will vanish and if it's somewhere the general public can't normally get to it may not show for anyone but you!

Hope that makes sense.

I think looking at the link you entered, you entered it twice

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!
