What figures are those? And do they make Austrians in kasket?

these are figures Magister Militum except the mounted officer who is pendraken
and the Austrians, if you talk of pre 1800, you can find them at Pendraken in the range "revolution" ..........

Hello!!

a small productive weekend with:
some additional pieces for the first line battalion

In "tactical" mode, it will be my first brigadier, the skirmishers (SK2) and a regimental battery

And "great tactical" mode, the indicator information or simply the way to enhance and customize the brigades:

Brigadier and skirmirshers .........

or skirmishers and regimental artillery ........

and finally (for now), a first foot battery of 8 pounds in "tactical mode"

some small enhancements to make, and elaborate a bit the flock, and I go to the next !!

The sabot bases work really well :) Perhaps a blue die for the French, less distracting than white ;)

in fact, I think use a different die color for each army corps, a simple and visual method to find ......

Can anyone else remember the 1970s War and Peace series starring Anthony Hopkins as Pierre. I'm sure the uniforms changed with the passing of time.

Not only remember it but got the book by Christopher Duffy, Borodino Napoleon against Russia, 1812, paperback by Sphere, 1972 with a few stills of Brordino from the tv series. French troops are all grenadiers with red epaulettes, long red tails on dark blue jackets and all wearing white trousers. Tricky to tell too much because of distance shot. Next pic down has two french guns with gunners in what looks like the similar uniform -blue trousers and white gaiters- only one has the top band of his shako in yellow.

The Russians are in lightish green jackets with short red tails and red edged cuffs, trousers are white.. Not at all sure of the headgear, whether it's a shako or a kiwer though; they look flat topped with white top bands and cords. can't see any aiguilettes though -picture taken from the wrong side.

Your painting is superb, but I sure do pity that MM horse carrying the French Chasseur.  They look as if they are about the same weight!   :o :o

that are not MM figures, but actually, the horse is very small (even for light cavalry !!) and we do not know who the horse or rider carries the other !!  ;D ;D

They are Lancer miniatures and, in fact, sculpted by the same sculptor as the MM range.
