Bit of a change of tack tonight - fancied something simple, rather than detailing of the cavalry

So some sheeps and Chinese Rockets for the Mongols

All are Irregular. The Sheep really were super quick to paint, I also have some cows to paint up too, to give me some bases to either act as scenery or as loot counters for raid scenarios.

I know the Mongols had quite a list of things they used in sieges but I didn't know they used rocket fired sheep!

A few bits and pieces done over the weekend, I decided to do some limited rebasing - mainly taking stuff on 20x20mm squares and sticking them on to 40mm square bases. This should have been straight forward, but I needed to remove the magnetic sheet from the bottom of the bases (easy) and the rare earth magnets (hard).

I had a good go at doing a 'Techno' while removing the magnets with a scalpel - not quite as bad as it sounds, as I did manage to snap the scalpel blade in half, before I stuck it in my finger - so just a couple of big drops of blood, rather than a trip to A&E!

Also stuck sand on bases, and painted them brown tonight

Spent much of the evening fighting with the washing machine, trying to get the drive belt back on - seems to be under a huge amount of tension - so keeps twisting off to the inside. Found a couple of youtube videos that make it look a dead simple - as it always is when done by an expert! Will give it another go tomorrow when my knees have decompressed. Why is kitchen DIY always in the most awkward of places...

Glad that wasn't too bad, Forbes...And good for you for having a go at the washing machine !

The figures look belting !

Cheers - Phil (Who got bitten by trying to adjust some brand new 'snap traps' over the weekend......And I was being SO bloody careful with them. Thought I'd broken the index finger on my right hand.........
"*&%£ !", that DID hurt.......but I did manage to put a half inch split my left thumb, which is just about healed now.  X_X...was damn sore mixing putty, yesterday, though )

Bloody Hell Phil! Leon must have kittens every time he reads one of your notes involving some kind of accident.
